According to the FDA

Toluene in Nail Polishes and Other Nail Products: Toluene is used as a solvent in a variety of nail products, including some nail polishes, nail hardeners, and polish removers; however, its use is being phased-out. The CIR reviewed toluene in 1987, determining that it was safe for use in nail products at concentrations up to 50 percent, which is the highest concentration observed in nail products.

The CIR reviewed its toluene safety assessment again in 2005, along with new information. At that time, CIR confirmed that many of the new studies reported findings consistent with the data in its earlier safety assessment, in that any reported adverse effects occurred only at levels many times higher than those observed when people used nail polish, and that the number of nail products containing toluene had dropped sharply.

I had used this top coat for 3 years now all I can say is that great price and fabulous top coat I had used, is good for for stamping it doesn't mestup the stamping and let one or two weeks I will purchase again because is a good top coat love it

I tried the regular bottle of this and went through the whole thing -which took longer than I expected- because it is the only top coat I will use anymore. I can't believe how much you get for the price of this refill bottle, it is SO worth it

This is my go to topcoat, I’ve tried others but they don’t tend to hold up as well for me without getting scuffed or having shrinkage issues.

Best Top Coat

Love this top coat! It's much higher viscosity than a regular polish, so you get a nice thick layer on top of your laquer. Dries in minutes even when put on still damp polish. I only wish it wouldn't sell out so often!

Love love love this top coat. It drys crazy fast and makes my polish last. I use it so much I decided to get the big refill and luckily I have these tiny funnels that I previously bought for something else to use to fill my nail polish bottle. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I figured there would be some kind of squeeze top or something on it to make it easier to pour into the tiny bottle opening. But other than that it’s great!

This top coat is the best you will find. It dries insanely fast and keeps your nail polish in pristine condition. If you're addicted to painting your nails, like myself, you NEED this top coat. The refill bottle is a great deal once you already have the normal bottle with a brush. Just get a plastic syringe from like amazon or something to refill your bottle and you're good to go! Lasts much longer than constantly buying individual small bottles.
