According to the FDA

Toluene in Nail Polishes and Other Nail Products:  Toluene is used as a solvent in a variety of nail products, including some nail polishes, nail hardeners, and polish removers; however, its use is being phased-out. The CIR reviewed toluene in 1987, determining that it was safe for use in nail products at concentrations up to 50 percent, which is the highest concentration observed in nail products.

The CIR reviewed its toluene safety assessment again in 2005, along with new information. At that time, CIR confirmed that many of the new studies reported findings consistent with the data in its earlier safety assessment, in that any reported adverse effects occurred only at levels many times higher than those observed when people used nail polish, and that the number of nail products containing toluene had dropped sharply.

    I've been on the hunt for a top coat that dried with the same speed and shine as Seche Vite but didn't turn into a goopy mess halfway down the bottle. This might just be the top coat to end all top coats.

    Great long lasting top coat that leaves your nails super shinny!!! You have to get used to the application since the product is a gell consistancy

    I absolutely love this polish. It's the details that make it so great. It doesn't bubble up, It has an extremely glossy finish to it that I've never actually seen in drugstore polishes and other brands. It dries extremely quick, and it dries very hard and solid to help prevent the polish underneath from getting dents, chipping, etc. I've experienced some chipping at the tip, but I have short nails and that's only where I can't reach with the brush to apply the polish well. My favorite thing is that for some reason, almost every brand that I've tried always leaves my fingertips oily and I cannot stand it. However, this top coat does not do that and I'm extremely happy.

    Best Top Coat ever

    This top coat is amazing. It goes on smooth, even over glitter polishes and dries very fast. It is fairly chip resistant. But honestly my favorite thing about it is that I can get through almost the entire bottle without it drying up and getting too thick. Most other top coats I've used become stringy and unusable before you are even halfway through it. But not this one! I don't know how they do it, but I will continue to use this topcoat as long as they continue to make it.

    I've been using this topcoat for a few months now and it's one of the best I've ever used. It keeps my mani on and it doesn't chip like different brands I've used in the past. it also gets rid of any bumps you may have required when you were painting or doing nailart.

    I've been using this basecoat for a few months now and it's one of the best I've ever used. It keeps my mani on and it doesn't chip like different brands I've used in the past. Also my nails aren't prone to staining when I use dark pigmented colors with this basecoat.

    New Favorite Top Coat

    This is has to be my new favorite top coat. It is way better then Seche Vite and doesn't "shrink" your polish. It goes on smooth and doesn't pick up polish when applying. It also dries quickly and does feel thick. I really do recommend this to anyone looking for a new quick dry!
