Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat Nail Polish

I went through a whole bottle of this top coat, and it behaved differently over time. Before using this top coat, I have only tried Seche Vite, so that's what I'm comparing it to in my mind. In the beginning (first 1/4) I would end up with a lot of top coat on my brush, even though the formula was very flowy. It's a different kind of formula to work with, so I tended to place some polish at the base of the nail, wipe off the excess on my brush, and then spread out the top coat. Throughout the entire experience, my bottle tended to streak nail art unless I was *very* careful to float the brush and apply enough polish to coat but not enough to flood. I also noticed that this top coat seemed to make the manicure ever-so-slightly darker, probably darkening as it dried, as I didn't notice the color change upon application. In the middle (3/4ths to 1/3 full), the top coat had thickened up so that I didn't have to wipe the excess off back into the bottle. Looking at the brush, it would seem that I had enough polish to coat the nail, but in practice, most nails would require a second dab per coat. At the end (last 1/3), the polish was noticeably thicker. Bubbles started appearing shortly after application, and I started experiencing vertical crinkling at the tips of my nails as the polish dried, something I had also experienced with Seche Vite. In my last few usages, I did experience shrinkage at the base of the nail, something that I hadn't experienced with this top coat up until this point. In my experience, compared to Seche Vite, this top coat is more flexible when dry, and has a consistency that I'm not used to working with. This one wins when it comes to shrinkage, but is not immune. Both of them bubbled for me over time, but the bubbling with this top coat was more prevalent. The streaking was worse, and it wasn't as effective at smoothing out a bumpy polish. It shines nicely and dries fast enough. Overall, I'm still on the lookout for a top coat that works for me. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best top coat I've ever used. By far. I used this for the first time on top of one of my favorite nail polishes, and it instantly made my nails pop. Initially, the top coat went on smooth and bubble-free. What I love about this product is it makes my nails looks like I got them done professionally. Even though I'm no master, my nails turn out perfect every time, Thank you so much Superchic Laquer, I will definitely be repurchasing.

QUICK DRY: Dries quicker than any top coats I've ever used. I like to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour before doing any heavy activities but before that time I able to easily do light chores. After an hour or two, it is extremely hard to mess up your nails. Dries faster than any top coat I've used and I am obsessed already. LOOK: Does not leave any bubbles like many other top coats. This top coat smooths pretty well. OTHER: - Top coat does smell but doesn't bother me too much. - The bottle seems bigger than other nail polish bottles. - Took 10 days to be delivered

Quick Dry: I can't believe how quickly this topcoat dries on the surface. Literally within 2-3 minutes you can run your finger over top of your nail without smudging. This is really helpful so that instead of getting impatient and ruining your hard work, you can play with your phone or touch the TV remote and keep yourself entertained while you wait for it to dry. Then after 10-15 minutes you can go about your normal light activities or use nail vinyls if you're doing nail art. After about 30-45 minutes I can do heavier household chores like laundry, making beds, etc. It's amazing compared to other topcoats or not using one at all, when my nails would smudge even after waiting 1-2 hours to do anything. I used to feel like I was a prisoner to my wet nails and it made me not want to paint them but now I know I can be back to normal life in 15-30 minutes and I feel happy to paint my nails and make beautiful works of art! Appearance: The finish is like glass. It is soooo smooth and shiny. The polish is very thick without feeling gloopy and it does NOT bubble like cheaper topcoats. It makes whatever is beneath it pop and shine beautifully! Other: The brush is shorter (but not thinner) than normal brushes which is helpful for getting a smooth distribution on the nail surface as well as wrapping the tip. Caution: The odor is very strong compared to other topcoats or regular nail polish. That's okay with me because whatever it is, IT WORKS! Just use in a well-ventilated area.

Thick, glossy, quick dry, and long lasting wear. Not only does it make holo polishes pop, but all polishes! Once you go superchic you won't go back!

I work with water a lot so it has always been a mission for me to find a top coat that holds up to me having to get my hands dirty more or less. I have used top coats that didn't last 1 work day for me. This top coat however is absolutely a life saver I have made it through 3 consecutive work days with not a single chip in my manicure which is amazing and it hasn't cracked anywhere which was another problem I had.

The product feels luscious and dries quickly. However, the smell is VERY strong. I don't know if this is related to my polish, the top coat, or some other factor, but after putting a fresh top coat over a white nail the next day, it turned the tips a light brown, like a toasted marshmallow.

I bought this quick dry top coat, and I love it. I work in fast food so it's hard to get nail polish to stay on my hands. And this top coat really helps! Absolutely love it!

This is by far the best top coat I have ever used. It dries pretty quickly without over drying like some do, that inherently actually dry up your polish which makes the polish chip. Dries crystal clear and smooths out most polish types.
