According to the FDA

Toluene in Nail Polishes and Other Nail Products: Toluene is used as a solvent in a variety of nail products, including some nail polishes, nail hardeners, and polish removers; however, its use is being phased-out. The CIR reviewed toluene in 1987, determining that it was safe for use in nail products at concentrations up to 50 percent, which is the highest concentration observed in nail products.

The CIR reviewed its toluene safety assessment again in 2005, along with new information. At that time, CIR confirmed that many of the new studies reported findings consistent with the data in its earlier safety assessment, in that any reported adverse effects occurred only at levels many times higher than those observed when people used nail polish, and that the number of nail products containing toluene had dropped sharply.

Excellent Top Coat

I absolutely love this top coat. It goes on thick and shiny, and dries really quickly. It makes all of my polishes look better, especially glittery or holographic polishes.

Favorite Glossy Taco!

Being completely honest, I tried out this topcoat on Cristine of SimplyNailogical's recommendation. Best idea I've ever had in regards to my nails. I was a habitual nail biter my entire life. A couple of years back I decided to try to grow them out, in doing so I need to constantly have them painted.... so I've gone through a lot of topcoats. Always looking for the right one. I wanted something that dries fast and dries hard with a great shine... like gel, but without the hassle of a gel. after being fed up with the previous topcoat that I had liked the most up until then I decided to give this one a try and I just ordered my third bottle and am so thankful that this topcoat exists!

Dries really quickly

This top coat dries really quickly and lasts quite a while. The only downside for me is that it doesn't stay as shiny as I would like. You also have to make sure to use a fairly thick coat or it won't apply evenly.

This top coat is awesome. I got it because of simplynailogicals raving and I have fallen in love with it. It's super quick drying (one of the quickest) and goes on like a dream. Love love love this top coat and I probably won't use any other now that I've found "the one" ♡

It dries within 5-10 minutes which is freaking incredible compared to the crap I used to use to topcoat my nails. The finish is so shiny and smooth and I'm in love with it.

I have tried many Top coats but always seem to come back to SuperChic Lacquer Marvel liquid Macro Top coat. Super glossy & fast drying, my manis last a lot longer with this top coat, love it!
