According to the FDA

Toluene in Nail Polishes and Other Nail Products: Toluene is used as a solvent in a variety of nail products, including some nail polishes, nail hardeners, and polish removers; however, its use is being phased-out. The CIR reviewed toluene in 1987, determining that it was safe for use in nail products at concentrations up to 50 percent, which is the highest concentration observed in nail products.

The CIR reviewed its toluene safety assessment again in 2005, along with new information. At that time, CIR confirmed that many of the new studies reported findings consistent with the data in its earlier safety assessment, in that any reported adverse effects occurred only at levels many times higher than those observed when people used nail polish, and that the number of nail products containing toluene had dropped sharply.

THE. BEST. EVER.

It's a great top coat--makes all the glitter polishes EXTRA shiny and glittery. It also dries super fast! My only complaint is that when I reached around 35% of my polish bottle, the solution got a little too thick/stringy so I just put some polish thinner it in and made it pretty again! The top coat is always glossy, doesn't chip or deteriorate, and dries really quick! Love, love, love it.

So good I'll never use anything else

The one and only complaint is that restocking takes so long. This topcoat is so great I feel the need to hoard it like treasure. Always glossy, super durable and dries in seconds. It does have a strong smell, but that goes away as it dries so it's really not an issue.

I love the liquid macro top coat so much! It's always so beautiful and glossy. And I appreciated the extra step of precaution they took in sending it by putting plastic between the bottle and its top to prevent leaks.

I love this topcoat! It is super shiny, but not too thick. These refill bottles are perfect if you go through topcoat like me! It also dries pretty fast.

Best top coat ever

This is the best top coat I've ever used plus it dries SO quickly. I'm never using anything else. It did get thicker and stringy once I was almost at the bottom of the first bottle but I just cleaned it out and refilled.

Ah-mazing Topcoat!!!

Hands down this is the best QDTC I've ever used. This QDTC does NOT, I repeat does NOT get goopy or stringy half way down the bottle!! Plus the shine! Fabulous product and formula. I've tried other brands but this is my all time favorite!

The Best Top Coat!

I purposely bought a large bottle of this top coat because I go through it like water. I use it for every manicure, and instantly fall in love with the shine that it creates the second it goes on. That, plus it dries so super quick, I can put it on and go. I am so glad that I found this, and don't know how I lived without it!!!
