R.E.M. Holographic Black Nail Polish

Love the color, the rainbow holo effect, and the slight sparkle to it. But, there are a couple of issues I had with this color. It peels off FAST. Used a base coat, from this company, one coat of color, and the top coat- also from this company, and within 2 days it completely chipped off. Also it dries really fast- too fast. It's dry as soon as it hits your nail. Makes it really hard to get a good application around your entire nail, without dragging the dried color off.

Seller Response: Thank you for your review! With highly pigmented polishes, they will chip easily especially without a base and top coat. I see that you did use both. It could be that your base coat is not best suited for this product as many customers have reported success with our Bring It On base coat that is a stain blocker & color bonder and was developed specifically for these shades. Secondly, try applying in standard room temperature and refrain from over working them while swatching. If the bottle ever begins to dry out over time, add a few drops of polish thinner (not acetone). I hope this information helps!

I love this polish! It's beautiful both in the sunlight and out of it. Very good application, and very opaque with minimal coats.

Loveeeeeee this polish. Shout out to Cristine (a.k.a SimplyNailogical) for making a youtube video on the Superchic Dreamology Collection. I truly am a holosexual aha! I love that it goes on in one thick coat! I feel like it has more holo properties without a top coat. But if you want it long lasting obviously go with a decent top coat for maximum effectiveness. Overall I'm super happy with my purchase.

I ordered this polish after seeing Christine use it on her YouTube channel and I am OBSESSED! It's beautiful! It's truly a one-coat holo, which is incredible. I applied mine with a rubberized base coat and sealed it with a fast-dry topcoat. I can't get enough!

I am really enjoying this awesome product and it is very pretty in the light. It doesn't go more thank 15 hours without chipping though and that's the only major downfall I see. It also has a potent smell which I was surprised by because it is free of so many additives that regular lacquers and polishes have. All in all though this is a great buy and I hope to continue adding to my collection.

Be sure to wear a high quality base coat (customer makes no reference to applying any base coat). This is essential especially with highly pigmented lacquers for proper adhesion.

It was super easy to put on, just one coat and dried very quickly. It looked like a dream, so the collection name is appropriate. I definitely recommend this polish.

This polish is gorgeous! So very pigmented, with wonderfully dense holographic particles. Best of all it's opaque in 1 coat!!!

The color of this polish is completely beautiful. The holographic~ness of this polish is gorgeous and shines bright in the sun! The reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it chipped within 24 hours with my normal top coat. That was very disappointing but I am going to try it out with a different top coat. It is so is very smooth on the nail and as other reviews say it is a one coat polish.

1 coat. Honestly! The best polish I've used by far. I can't wait till they come out with a white to go with this! A must have for me.
